About me

Hailing from the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico, my formative years allowed me to immerse myself in the rural desert landscapes of my grandparent's cattle ranch. This unique upbringing instilled a profound appreciation and respect for the natural world—a heritage that felt integral to my being. My grandparents' deep, unwavering devotion towards the divine mother, as embodied by Our Lady of Guadalupe, left an indelible impression on my impressionable young mind. Little did I know, these early experiences were my initiation into spirituality and marked the initial steps on my soul's enduring journey.

I take immense pride in my lineage as a descendant of powerful women known as Curanderas, esteemed traditional Mexican healing arts practitioners. This legacy has given me an inherent connection to the divine mother, an unwavering sense of protection, and a touch of enchantment that radiates in every aspect of my being.

My journey toward self-discovery took a pivotal turn during my adolescent years while working on the ranch. A debilitating injury left me on the brink of paralysis. Yet, this seemingly impossible setback would ultimately be a blessing in disguise—a transformative catalyst that set me on the path of self-healing. Before this moment, the realm of yoga had remained veiled from my awareness. It was through a serendipitous invitation to a yoga class that the practice found me, forever altering the course of my life.

One inhalation as I transitioned into Warrior III was all it took for an electrifying surge of energy to course through my body. In that singular, profound instant, chaos and pain transformed into a harmonious flow, offering a glimpse of the incredible power within me. I stumbled upon a divine switch that enabled me, through practice, to control and regulate my energy.

From that day forward, my existence became dedicated to studying and practicing yoga.

The path of healing has been an odyssey that has led me across the globe, guided by the divine mother's benevolence. With immense gratitude, I have had the privilege of studying under unassuming yet extraordinary masters from diverse cultures, each effortlessly conveying universal truths through their own unique experiences and direct connections. This profoundly personal journey of healing inspires my teachings. I consider it a profound honor to share these invaluable teachings with students spanning the continents, representing a rich tapestry of backgrounds, cultures, religions, and spiritual beliefs.
